FightBox is proud to announce that King of Kings, one of the most recognizable brands of kickboxing, will return to live action from Sakarya, Turkey on Friday July 26th 2019 starting at 7:00 pm CEST (8:00 pm local time).
King of Kings is back on FightBox for the promotion’s eleventh big event of 2019. KOK started cooperation with long-time Turkish fighter and promoter Erkan Varol last year and the partnership continues to set new records. Last month the promotion held the “Turkey vs. France” event from the outdoor Hendek Bayraktepe Arena, which packed fans shoulder to shoulder and broke the ratings record for Turkish television.
This time the fight card features five “Turkey vs. Russia” fights. Last time the Turks won all of their fights against the French contingent, but can they repeat their success against the very tough Russian entourage? Last month in a very close fight Turkey’s Mustafa Akdemir got the victory by split decision over his French rival. Now he faces Amir Khan Alborov of Russia in what could turn out to be one of the best fights of the night. Ahmet Kilic of Turkey also returns to the KOK ring. Kilic competed in March for KOK and destroyed his opponent with a stunning first round knockout. Now he must prove his talents again against Hossein Mollamahdi, a very talented standup fighter from Iran who also has an MMA background. The full fight card for the evening can be found below.
