Colosseum Tournament returned to action for the promotion’s third big event of 2019. The show featured two title fights in the Heavyweight and Middleweight divisions. After a controversial decision at Colosseum Tournament 12, promoter Gabriel Georgescu called for an immediate rematch between Costin Mincu and Marius Munteanu for the Heavyweight Championship. This time around, in a five round fight, Munteanu was able to gain a decisive unanimous decision victory, even knocking down Mincu in round two.
Middleweight Champion Cosmin Ionescu was also victorious against a very tough Milos Cvjeticanin in his first defense of the championship since winning it in a four-man WGP tournament in September of last year. And in his penultimate fight of his career, long time Romanian fighter Ionut Atodiresei scored a third round knockout victory over Aleksandre Gamqrelidze.
