FightBox is proud to announce the debut of New European Championship Wrestling (NEW) to our programming schedule starting on Friday June 3rd at 10:00pm Central European Time.
During recent years, wrestling has become more and more popular in Germany and consistently generates more enthusiastic fans. Currently the major US promotions are the market leader in Germany and other countries around the world. This could, however, change in the future.
In 2009 former international WCW wrestling superstar and three-time WCW World Champion Alex Wright founded, after his nearly ten-year stay in the USA, New European Championship Wrestling. Since 2011, the promotion has regularly organized shows in the NEW HotSpot arena, the only individually equipped wrestling hall in Germany.

NEW is known for its loyal fan base, hybrid wrestling style and professional presentation which makes it one of the most exciting brands of wrestling and FightBox HD is the broadcasting associate for this federation. NEW now joins an already impressive lineup of pro wrestling on FightBox which also includes New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), Osaka Funny Wrestling and Oz Academy.
