Season two of The FightBox Podcast starts on January 6th, 2015, marking the second year of the show. The podcast, hosted by FightBox HD English commentator Daniel Austin aka “Don Roid”, features interviews with top fighters from around the world in a range of different fighting sports.

In 2015 The FightBox Podcast produced 53 audio-only episodes with guests ranging from Muay Thai practitioners, kickboxers and MMA fighters to referees, fight promoters and even musicians. Some of the show’s most famous guests have included Dan “The Beast” Severn, a UFC Hall of Famer, Joanna Jędrzejczyk, the current UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion, Muay Thai legend John Wayne Parr, retired pro wrestler Kamala and many others.

“I had no idea what to expect when I started the podcast a year ago” says host Daniel Austin. “It’s been such a fun ride. I get to speak with people I probably never would have the opportunity to otherwise”.

As for 2016, in addition to more exciting interviews and more interesting guests in the world of combat sports, there could be a few new features to the show as well, explains the host. “I would like to make more video episodes. I’ve got a great response from the episodes on Youtube. I would also like to try doing a few live episodes as well.” The first guest for season number two will be Rico Verhoeven, the current Glory Kickboxing World Heavyweight Champion.
