Colosseum Tournament held their first event of 2024 this past Friday in Ploiesti, Romania in front of a passionate audience. The event was headlined by a non-title fight featuring the current CT World Bantamweight Champion Daniel Dragomir who was successful against top Greek fighter Petros Athanasiou by split decision. The card also featured a number of fighters making a return to the promotion after long breaks including Amansio Paraschiv who defeated Brazil’s Evandro Cavalheiro by TKO and Cosmin Ionescu, the former CT champion, who defeated the 50 year old Romanian legend Florin Ghita who came out of retirement for the bout, but got knocked out in the first round.
