FightBox is proud to announce that King of Kings, one of the most recognizable brands of kickboxing, will return to live action from Vilnius, Lithuania on Saturday March, 18th 2023 starting at 6:00 pm CET (7:00 pm in Lithuania).
King of Kings returns to their home base of Vilnius, Lithuania for another huge “Mega Series” event. Two titles will be up for grabs including the Welterweight MMA Bushido World title and the KOK World Lightweight title.
In the main event Artur Leisans of Latvia takes on Lithuania’s Vitold Jagelo for the MMA Bushido World title at -77 kg. These are two of the most talented and experienced MMA fighters in the organization. In fact, their paths crossed once before in December of 2017 in Riga, Latvia and on that night it was Jagelo who got the win by unanimous decision. But with both men now much older and more experienced it will be a true battle to see who is the best in the division.
A new KOK Lightweight Champion will also be crowned as the title was recently vacated by former champion Mindaugas Narauskas who is no longer with the organization. Rising Lithuanian star Gustas Dimsa has in strong martial arts background and has won an impressive number of bouts in the past few year. He is currently ranked fifth among KOK lightweight fighters. His opponent is one of Finland’s best lightweights, Niko Korventaus. His hard-hitting fights in KOK currently have him ranked at number three. The full fight card for the evening can be found below.
