FightBox is proud to announce that King of Kings, one of the most recognizable brands in kickboxing, will return to live action from Riga, Latvia on Saturday November 26th 2022 starting at 6:00 pm CET (7:00 pm in Latvia).
King of Kings is back with another edition of the Mega Series after a massive event in Kaunas, Lithuania a few weeks ago. The main attraction of the evening is a KOK European Light Heavyweight Title fight between Michał Walczak of Poland and Latvia’s Kristaps Zile. This is a fight which shines a new light on the KOK light heavyweight division which has long been dominated by Lithuania’s Sergej Maslobojev. Walczak is a fighter who does not back down from anyone and has a background in many different disciplines including kickboxing, boxing and bare knuckle boxing. Zile has looked impressive in previous appearances in KOK and is now looking to take it to the next level.
Also on the card is a -91 kg boxing matchup between former KOK heavyweight contender Reinis Porozovs and Farshad Derekeh of Holland. In addition to challenging for the KOK heavyweight crown, Porozovs recently captured a low kick rules championship in Poland earlier this year. Now he tries his hand in a Dream Boxing rules matchup with the full support of the Latvian fans. The full fight card for the evening can be found below.
