FightBox is proud to announce that Colosseum Tournament, Romania’s biggest kickboxing promotion, will be live from Cluj-Napoca, Romania this Monday May 31st starting at 6:00 pm CEST (7:00 pm local time).
Colosseum Tournament has been one of the most active kickboxing promotions in the world during the COVID-19 epidemic and they are not slowing down yet. This will be the 25th event for Colosseum and the fight card looks amazing.
In the main event, Sorin Caliniuc makes his return to Colosseum Tournament. Caliniuc has been on a role in recent months, defeating one of the promotion’s top fighters, Andrei Ostrovanu and then Gabriel Bozan two months later, winning the Lightweight Championship in the process. Now he accepts another huge challenge when he faces one of Moldova’s most experienced and toughest fighters Vitalie Matei. Matei is a former world champion and has had many tough battles in his career against top kickboxers from around the world.
Also on the card is another international battle between Moldova and Romania as current CT Featherweight Champion Maxim Railean takes on Romania’s Cristian Spetcu. In addition to being a former Superkombat Champion, Spetcu has already made his presence felt in Colosseum Tournament by picking up a victory over Adrian Maxim and now has his eyes set on the champion.
