FightBox is proud to announce that Colosseum Tournament, Romania’s biggest kickboxing promotion, will be live from Bucharest, Romania on Friday November 27th starting at 6:00 pm CET (7:00 pm local time).
Despite tight COVID-19 regulations which prevent many promotions from organizing events, Colosseum Tournament returns to action once again this coming Friday for the promotion’s second event since the onset of the pandemic. The event is entitled “Young Lions” and will focus on finding rising stars on the Romanian kickboxing scene.
The fight card features the return of one of Romania’s most famous fighters Mirel Dragan who is not only well known for his accomplishments as a kempo karate world champion, but also for being a participant in the Romanian reality show “Exatlon”. Dragan is 3 -1 in Colosseum Tournament and always brings an air of excitement when he steps into the ring. His opponent shares his last name. Mihai Dragan is looking to take advantage of the “Young Lions” theme to this event and wants to make a name for himself at the expense of his adversary.
There will also be a Colosseum Tournament -65 kg Interim Title Fight when Vlad Trif takes on Marian Lapuseanu. The current Featherweight Champion is Maxim Railean. However, due to the COVID-19 restrictions it has been difficult to bring him to Romania to defend the title. So it has been decided that an interim champion be named with the winner to face Railean for the World Title as soon as it is possible. The full fight card for the evening can be found below.
