FightBox is proud to announce that Thunderstrike Fight League, Poland’s fastest growing MMA promotion, returns to live action on FightBox HD from Lublin, Poland starting at 9:00 pm CET on Saturday December 21st 2019.
Thunderstrike Fight League presents “Christmas Time” live on FightBox HD, the organization’s nineteenth event. The main event features a TFL Middleweight Title fight between the reigning champion Cezary “Lublin’s Tank” Kęsik and Finland’s Jussi Halonen. Kęsik is undefeated in his 10 previous fights and is looking to not only extend that undefeated streak, but also defend the title. Kęsik holds six victories in TFL and has recently competed twice for KSW, one of the world’s biggest MMA promotions. Jussi Halonen is a late replacement and a very well rounded, experienced fighter who has no pressure coming into this fight.
In another title defense, the ever popular Hubert “Monkey” Szymajda will face the challenge of Jerry Kvarnstrom. Szymajda has been with TFL since their first event and has proven himself to be a worthy champion. His opponent, Kvarnstrom is a much more experienced fighter with 27 total fights.
