Makowski Fighting Championship 16 was live on FightBox HD this past Saturday from Zielona Góra, Poland for the promotion’s first of two scheduled events this year. The event was headlined by four championship fights including the first ever MFC Heavyweight Title fight. It was in this fight that a serious injury took place. 122 kg Czech fighter Alen Kapetanović broke his leg in a mishap that was almost identical to Tyrone Spong’s injury when he fought Gokan Saki in Glory kickboxing in 2014.
