FightBox HD is proud to announce that Makowski Fighting Championship returns to live action on Saturday, October 5th 2019 from Zielona Góra, Poland. Top Polish fighters and competitors from abroad will compete under kickboxing rules, starting at 8:00 pm CEST.
Four kickboxing championships are up for grabs when Makowski Fighting Championship presents its first big event of 2019. In the main event, the first ever fight for the MFC Heavyweight Championship will take place when long time MFC fighter Marcin Bodnar faces off against the Czech Republic’s Alen Kapetanovic. Bodnar has accumulated six victories over the years in MFC including his win over top Slovakian fighter Ivan Bartek at the last Makowski event. Now his hard work finally pays off as he goes for the gold against a very tough Kapetanovic .
Also on the card is another MFC title fight at -81 kg when Sławomir Przypis takes on Pawel Sach. Przypis went 7 - 0 in MFC before his winning streak was brought to a screeching halt by Karim Mabrouk who defeated the Pole for the MFC -83 kg title. Przypis now continues his dream of obtaining MFC gold. Sach was defeated by Kacper Frątczak at the last MFC event in December of 2018 by unanimous decision at -84 kilos.
