FightBox is proud to announce that Valor BK, the world’s newest bare knuckle boxing promotion headed by MMA legend Ken Shamrock, will be live from New Town, South Dakota, USA on Sunday September 22nd starting at 3:00 am CEST (9:00 pm Eastern Time on Saturday night in the USA).
Back in the day when the UFC was in its infancy, fighters went fist to fist with their bare hands. MMA legend “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” Ken Shamrock brings that same raw fighting style to his new BKB (bare knuckle boxing) promotion Valor Bare Knuckle. The promotion’s debut event is holding nothing back. Four heavy hitters will knuckle up in a one night, four-man heavyweight tournament. Semi-final matchups include K-1, Bellator and Road FC veteran Mighty Mo taking on “The African Assassin” Sokoudjou as well as former UFC fighter Mark “The Hand of” Godbeer facing UFC and Bellator veteran Jack “Outlaw” May. With these four heavyweight sluggers going full force in a four-man tournament under BKB rules, it looks like we could be in for a bloody and violent night of action.
Also on the card is another massive heavyweight encounter when former UFC, KSW, K-1 and One FC fighter James “The Sledgehammer” McSweeney takes on battle tested MMA veteran Brian Heden who has over 40 professional MMA bouts under his belt. Promoter Ken Shamrock has certainly put together a stacked card of bare knuckle action, making this a must-see event. The full card for the evening can be found below.
