On Saturday night, 4 April, FightBox viewers once again saw spectacular kickboxing action at the King Of Kings World GP 2015 in Moldova. 6 fights from the Chisinau-based Manej Sport Arena were broadcasted live as part of the Fight Box Eagles Series 2015.
The fighters really rose to the top of their game and the spectators were enthralled by the clash between Tural Bayramov from Azerbaijan and the Moldovan bombardier Sergei Morari. It was a clean fight with continuous exchanges, dominated by the faster Bayramov who ultimately won. With this win, the finalist of the 2014 kickboxing tournament in Thailand proved he should be considered as one of the leaders in the kickboxing category.
Polish fans, unfortunately, had to be disappointed when Piotr Woźnicki from Płock got a massive knee to the body from Moldovan Matei Vitale in the second round and lost by count-out. Another Moldovan, Stanislav Renita, showed some real skill in his featherweight fight against Dimitri Angelini from Italy who was counted after receiving a whole series of blows. It was only thanks to his spirit that the Italian survived till the final bell.
FightBox viewers can relive the action as we will rebroadcast the event on our channel (see schedule for details). Also, tune in next month to watch the second part of the KOK World Grand Prix, including the lightweight tournament and a fight for the heavyweight title between Vladimir Tok from Germany and Colin George from the Netherlands.
