FightBox is proud to announce that Colosseum Tournament, Romania’s biggest kickboxing promotion, will be live from Brasov, Romania this Friday September 27th starting at 6:00 pm CEST (7:00 pm local time).
Colosseum Tournament is back for the promotion’s third big event of 2024, this time from the city of Brasov in central Romania. The main event features a fight for the CT Bantamweight Championship as champion Daniel Dragomir defends the title against Iulian Marinescu. Dragomir won the vacant title at CT 40 in October of last year with a KO victory over Mihai Rusu and although he has continued to be active, he has been patiently waiting for another contender to emerge. Marinescu is a former champion himself, winning the title in December of 2021 and is looking to retake the title.
Also on the card is another title fight, this one for the CT New Heroes Featherweight Championship. Both Paul Cornea and Alex Popescu have been slowly establishing themselves as young rising stars in the -65 kg division over the past few years and now is their chance to take the next big step in their career as winning a “New Heroes” title is often a launching point to bigger and better things.
