"Oktagon: Petrosyan vs. Kehl" Live on FightBox HD April 11th 8:00pm - Full Card

On Saturday, April 11, Fight Box HD viewers will see another great kickboxing and Muay Thai spectacle: Oktagon Italy from Milan. The Italian event will commemorate the 20th anniversary of this global show. The world’s top two fighters will go at it in the main event as Giorgio Petrosyan, the Armenian champion representing Italy, will face off against last year’s sensation, Enriko Kehl from Germany.

Both have tasted the prestigious K-1 MAX championship glory: Petrosyan held the title in 2009 and 2010, while Kehl has been the reigning champion since late 2014. Their last fights are indirectly connected by Erkan Varol, the Turkish fighter we saw at the Mixfight Gala XVI broadcasted by FightBox. Both defeated him this year and, as a result, will now square off against each other.

This will also be a clash of styles, as reflected by their nicknames. The Armenian-born but long-time citizen of Italy “The Doctor” Petrosyan is a counterattack expert who strikes with deadly precision. Meanwhile, his German opponent is known as “The Hurricane”, a mighty force that is almost impossible to stop. The Doctor vs. The Hurricane – you simply cannot miss this! Especially now that the whole event will be broadcasted live on FightBox!

Other fights will also feature some of the top-class names. Armen Petrosyan, Giogio’s brother, will defend the ISKA title against the K-1 MAX veteran, Yasuhiro Kido from Japan. ISKA is one of the world’s biggest kickboxing promotions so the prestige and importance of this fight go without saying.

You will also have a chance to see the French kickboxing/Muay Thai superstar, multi-time world champion Karim Ghajji, who will face the best Italian middleweight fighter, Fabio Siciliani. With 92 wins in his tally, the Frenchman is getting close to his 100th victory. The Italian is halfway to that achievement but there is no doubt he will want to prove his worth on home ground.

The rising star of Muay Thai, European champion Dmitry Varets from Belarus will fight the Thai legend, Sak Kaoponlek. A true clash between youth and experience, this fight will keep viewers from around the world on the edge of their seats. We also have to mention the great return of Savate fights to our channel, as we’ll see the best Italian names in the sport known as French boxing. Two fights in this old French style will be a great addition to all the kickboxing and Muay Thai action. Full card below:
