King of Kings “Mega Series” LIVE from Vilnius, Lithuania 18.11.2023

FightBox is proud to announce that King of Kings, one of the most recognizable brands of kickboxing, will return to live action from Vilnius, Lithuania on Saturday November 18th 2023 starting at 6:00 pm CET (7:00 pm in Lithuania).

King of Kings returns to their home base of the Avia Solutions Group Arena in Vilnius, Lithuania for another huge “Mega Series” event. The arena is known for housing kickboxing’s biggest events, regularly attended by upwards of 10,000 fans.

In the main event, KOK and Glory champion Sergej Masbolojev is back in King of Kings, this time at heavyweight. No one can question the credentials of “The Sledgehammer” who has been at the top of the world light heavyweight rankings for several years, competing at the highest level. However, at the Mega Series he will move up to the heavyweight division to face the top British fighter Rhys Brudnell, another Glory veteran with brutal KO power who has promised a “guaranteed knockout” of his opponent.

Also, four young, hungry welterweights will compete in the KOK Welterweight Grand Prix Tournament to decide who will be the next rising star in the division. The King of Kings welterweight division has been on fire as of late with current KOK World Welterweight Champion Chico Kwasi competing in both KOK and Glory and Iran’s Mahmud Giahi winning a WGP tournament one month ago in Tallinn, Estonia. In the first semi-final fight two Lithuanian fighters, Benas Sorochovas and Naglis Tamasevicius will be fighting in what is a rematch after they fought to a draw not long ago. And in the second semi-final, KOK veteran Jordy Laret makes his return to the promotion for the first time since 2017 to take on the quick and dynamic fighter Anton Podgornyj.

There will also be five MMA fights on the first half of the event featuring an MMA Bushido World Heavyweight Title fight as well as the welterweight fight featuring the unpredictable Rodrigo Mineiro. The full fight card for the evening can be found below.
