FightBox is proud to announce that Colosseum Tournament, Romania’s biggest kickboxing promotion, will be live from Baia Mare, Romania this Friday October 20th starting at 5:00 pm CET (6:00 pm local time).
Colosseum Tournament is back with a stacked card for the promotion’s 40th event. The main event features a five-round title fight for the Colosseum Tournament Bantamweight Championship when Daniel Dragomir faces Mihai Rusu. These are two men who know each other very well, having fought twice last year with Dragomir winning both bouts. However, since then Rusu has picked up some key victories while Dragomir has struggled after changing to the featherweight division. This time, with the belt on the line at bantamweight, we will find out once and for all who is the best -65 kg fighter in Colosseum Tournament today.
The CT featherweight division is also in the spotlight, featuring a four-man championship tournament. In the first semi-final, Valentin Mavrodin takes on Alfadell Alkasid. Mavrodin first made his mark in Colosseum Tournament capturing the New Hero’s Championship, but has since proved he is ready for the next step in his career. His opponent is a product of Mike Polanen’s famous ARJ Trainingen gym in Holland and will surely be up for the challenge. On the other side of the brackets Bogdan “The Bomb” Floristean will face his fellow countryman Cosmin Neagu in what is expected to be a very hard-hitting affair. The winner of the tournament will be crowned the new Colosseum Tournament World Featherweight Champion. The full fight card for the evening can be found below.
