National Fighting Championship, one of Germany’s top MMA promotions since 2019, will make their live debut on FightBox HD this Saturday, March 25th, from Dortmund, Germany starting at 6:00 pm CET.
The main event features a NFC Featherweight Championship fight as Mert Ozylidirim (10-4) takes on Max Coga (24-8-1). Both men know what it’s like to hold the title with Coga first claiming it at NFC 5 in 2021 with a second round finish of Mohammed Sadok Trabelsi. Ozylidirim would go on to find gold a year and a half later at NFC 8 by earning a solid decision victory over Jarno Errens. Now these two battle tested veterans will clash for one of the most prestigious titles in European MMA.
Also, in the co-main event, Khalid Taha’s opponent has been changed just recently and he will now face Willian Valentim of Brazil. Taha will have to adapt to this new challenger who has a strong submission game. Taha is a UFC veteran who is looking to reestablish himself on the international scene, but a win for Valentim could open new doors in this career.
