FightBox is proud to announce that King of Kings, one of the most recognizable brands of kickboxing, will return to live action from Tallinn, Estonia on Saturday October, 15th 2022 starting at 6:00 pm CEST (7:00 pm in Estonia).
After taking a break for the majority of the summer, KOK is back with their next big event happening in Tallinn, Estonia. This is KOK’s second time in Tallinn this year and it is the first of six events for the promotion before the end of the year.
The main attraction is a four-man Welterweight WGP Tournament featuring four of the best fighters in the division. In the first semi-final bout Marko Sults, the only Estonian fighter in the tournament, will face #4 ranked Roman Jarosh of Ukraine. Then, #5 ranked Raimondas Avlasevicius of Lithuania will square off against veteran fighter Denis Makowski of Poland in a highly anticipated bout. The two winners will face each other later in the evening in the tournament final.
Also, the KOK Women’s World Bantamweight Championship will be on the line in a five-round fight when current World and European Champion Astrid Johanna Grents defends her title against Ilona Wojda of Poland. Grents proved her dominance in KOK by winning the four-woman WGP tournament one year ago and is the only KOK fighter to simultaneously hold two championship titles. Wojda was also in the tournament, but did not face Grents. After several key victories in KOK she now has earned her opportunity to face Grents for the title.
