FightBox HD viewers lived a night full of emotions and drama while watching the KOK World Grand Prix 2015 gala broadcasted live from Latvia’s capital city Riga. Amazing fights, unexpected decisions and dramatic events occurred while fighters battled inside the ring.
The most serious and dreadful thing happened right in the very beginning of his fight to Latvia’s Jevgenijs Aleksejevs, one of the night’s favorite contenders. In a scene like from a nightmare he broke his leg while competing against Rain Kaerkinen from Estonia. Unexpectedly, the most triumphant of the night turned out to be the Moldovan bombardier Sergei Morari.
Two Polish contenders appeared during the gala in Riga. Potr Woźnicki from Płock, in the middleweight category, had bad luck facing Sergei Morari and despite his brave attitude lost by decision. FightBox viewers can relive the action as we will rebroadcast the event on our channel (see schedule for details).
The second Polish contender, a KOK veteran, Mateusz Kopiec from Warsaw did very well fighting against Latvia’s Vyacheslav Tevinsh. The judges reached a unanimous decision handing the victory to the Polish fighter.
