An incredible night of live boxing action from the historic 2300 Arena in south Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA comes live to FightBox HD on Friday March 6th at 8:00pm Eastern Standard Time (Saturday, March 7th at 1:00am Central European Time) as Jason Sosa takes on Bergman Aguilar in the main event of “Friday Night Fights”.
Sosa (13 - 1 - 3, 9KOs) has knocked out his last 8 opponents and the Camden, New Jersey native is quickly establishing himself as a contender. His opponent, Bergman Aguilar (12 - 1 - 1, 4KOs) is neck and neck with Sosa as far as records, but most of his fights tend to go the distance. It will be interesting to see how these styles clash in Philadelphia.
In the co-main event, a heavyweight encounter, Joey “Polish Thunder” Dawejko (13 - 3 - 2, 6KOs) will face Enobong “The Nigerian Gentleman” Umohette (9 - 2, 8KOs). In this clash of cultures, the 24 year old Dawejko, who went 5 - 0 in 2014, expects big things this year stating “This could be the start of a big year for me … Last year was a rebuilding year for me and I hope to get into the world rankings in 2015.” Umohette, 11 years the senior of Dawejko and a former amateur champion in his native country, lost his last match, which broke a streak of nine straight victories, eight of which were stoppages.
