FightBox is proud to announce that Colosseum Tournament, Romania’s biggest kickboxing promotion, will be live from Suceava, Romania this Friday June 28th starting at 7:00 pm CEST (8:00 pm local time).
Colosseum Tournament 43 presents historic fights at a very unique location. This amazing outdoor event is being held at “Cetatea de Scaun” (the fortress of Suceava) and will feature two huge title fights with some of the organizations best fighters and several top international competitors.
First, four of the best up-and-coming fighters in the -61 kg division will compete in a one-night, four-man championship tournament to crown the NEW HEROES Bantamweight Champion. In the first semi-final bout Colosseum favorite “The Galdiator” Mihai Rusu will face Stefan Druja. Then, in the second semi-final, Dutch / Moroccan fighter Ibrahim Akdi takes on Alex Popescu. The two winners will square off later in the evening for the championship.
Also, Suceava’s own Bogdan “The Bomb” Floristean makes his first title defense of the Colosseum Tournament World Featherweight championship when he faces top Moldovan fighter Dimitrii Sirbu. Sirbu is also a champion in his home country for FEA Championship. So this is a true “champion vs. champion” match! Does Sirbu have what it takes to bring the gold home to Moldova or can Floristean defend the honor of the fortress and of Suceava? The full fight card for the evening can be found below.
