FightBox is proud to announce that Mix Fight Championship returns to live action on Saturday December 3rd 2022, emanating from Frankfurt, Germany at 8:30 pm CET.
After a blockbuster show in Azerbaijan featuring the retirement fight of kickboxing legend Zabit Samedov in September, Mix Fight Championship returns to its home base of Frankfurt, Germany for their annual December event. The fight card features many different styles of fights including boxing, kickboxing, MMA and Muay Thai and several fights will be with MMA gloves.
The main attraction of the evening is a Mix Fight Heavyweight Championship match under kickboxing rules when James McSweeney takes on the heavy-handed Turk Bugra Erdogan. McSweeney last fought in Glory kickboxing last year and also has picked up key victories in Mix Fight Championship against the likes of Danyo Illunga and Murat Aygun. Erdogan gained a solid decision victory over Kirril Buller in September. With both of these two monsters hungry for the gold, this will be a true clash of the titans.
Also, former Glory Lightweight Champion Davit Kiria will debut for Mix Fight Championship on December 3rd! For over 10 years Kiria has been among the elite lightweights in kickboxing, competing against the best in the world. Now he is ready to show what he can do against the best in Mix Fight Championship. His opponent is Johannes Bass an impressive up-and-comer who impressed many fans by making it to the finals of the -72.5 kg tournament one year ago.
