FightBox is proud to announce that King of Kings, one of the most recognizable brands in kickboxing, will return to live action from Kaunas, Lithuania on Saturday November 5th 2022 starting at 6:00 pm CET (7:00 pm local time).
As King of Kings continues their fall / winter tour, the next stop is Kaunas, Lithuania and Zalgirio Arena, the largest arena in the Baltic states. The main event features a five-round World Featherweight Title fight as Matas Pultarazinskas defends against Simon Santana. Pultarazinskas, the current champion, one of KOK’s best home-grown talents, makes his second defense of the title and is riding a eight-fight win streak in King of Kings. Santana became the first ever KOK Bantamweight Champion when the defeated Marrko Moisar for the European title this past May in Tallinn, Estonia. He now looks to become only the second person in KOK history to hold two titles simultaneously and the first ever to hold two titles in two different weight divisions.
The first five fights of the card will be under MMA Bushido rules. Former Bushido Heavyweight Champion Tomas Pakutinskas will face Georgian fighter Soslan Gasiev and Lithuanian middleweight Erikas Golubovskis, who is undefeated under the MMA Bushido banner, will face Finnish fighter Jussi Pirttikangas.
