FightBox is proud to announce that Colosseum Tournament, Romania’s biggest kickboxing promotion, will be live from Bucharest, Romania this Thursday June 23rd starting at 6:00 pm CEST (7:00 pm local time).
Colosseum Tournament is back for the promotion’s fourth event of 2022 in Romania’s capital city of Bucharest, their second event this month.
In the main event of the evening, the Colosseum Tournament Lightweight Champion Sorin “Babyface” Caliniuc will return the CT ring to defend his title against Nafi Bilalovski. Bilalovski is a hard-hitting Belgian fighter who has a KO ratio of 77% and has had fights in Glory, Enfusion, Kunlun Fight and other top promotions. However, Caliniuc is quickly proving that he is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in Europe at this division, having already defended the CT Lightweight Title twice, including a win over Stoyan Koprivlenski in September of last year. He is currently undefeated at 9 - 0.
Also, in the co-main event, the man with the iron chin, Moldova’s Vitalie Matei returns to Colosseum Tournament to challenge the KO artist Darius Argyo. This is a classic battle of up-and-comer versus veteran. Argyo is a young fighter with dynamite in his hands. A win over the battle-tested Matei would cement his credibility, but there have not been many who have been able to drop Matei. The full fight card for the evening can be found below.
