FightBox is proud to announce that King of Kings, one of the most recognizable brands in kickboxing, will return to live action from Riga, Latvia on Saturday October 27th 2018 starting at 6:00 pm CEST.
King of Kings returns to live action on FightBox HD from the Latvian capital of Riga. The main event of the evening is a five-round KOK Welterweight Title fight when current champion Zaur Dzhavadov defends his title against Moldova’s Constantin Rusu. This is a rematch from February of 2017 when Dzhavadov defeated Rusu in the finals of the 2017 KOK World Grand Prix. After his victory, “The Latvian Ninja” went on to win the -77 kg title from Sergei Morari. He now defends the belt against Rusu who won a four-man WGP tournament earlier this year in his home country to earn his shot at the title.
Another top Latvian star, Raimonds Aukstikalnis, returns to KOK after an impressive win in September over Lithuanian standout Tomas Steponkevicius. His opponent this time is a very tough Finnish fighter Daniel Forsberg, who is making his KOK debut. The full fight card for the night can be found below.
