FightBox HD is proud to announce that Makowski Fighting Championship returns to live action on Saturday, December 16th from Nowa Sól, Poland. Top fighters from Poland and abroad will compete under both kickboxing and Muay Thai rules, starting at 8:00 pm Central European Time.
Earlier in the year Makowski Fighting Championship introduced the organization’s first ever title belt with Paweł Jędrzejczyk winning the -80 kg MFC Title. MFC is now back with another big event and this time two new champions will be crowned. In the main event, one of MFC’s top fighters, Łukasz Pławecki, will challenge a standout fighter from Moldova, Denis Teleshman, for the championship. Pławecki has fought for many of the top promotions in kickboxing including Glory, Kunlun Fight and King of Kings. He also recently won the Celtic Gladiator championship. He now has a chance for more gold when he takes on Teleshman, a young, talented Moldovan fighter who already holds a win over another top Polish talent, Rafał Dudek.
The ladies of MFC will also be in championship competition when Emilia Czerwińska faces Chellina Chirino of Holland. Czerwińska put on a very impressive performance at MFC 12, defeating Germany’s Michaela Michl and earning herself a title opportunity. She will face Chirino in a three round battle with the MFC gold in the women’s -62 kilogram division on the line. The full fight card can be found below.
