FightBox HD is proud to announce that Makowski Fighting Championship returns to live action on Saturday, September 16th from Zielona Góra, Poland. Top fighters from Poland and abroad will compete under both kickboxing and Muay Thai rules, starting at 8:00 pm Central European Time.
For the first time ever fighters will compete for the MFC Championship belt. Makowski Fighting Championship has recently revealed that the organization now has their own championship and that none other than Paweł Jędrzejczyk will have the first chance at winning the title. “Wergi” is a five-time world champion and is also the first Polish fighter to win at Rajadamnern stadium in Thailand and the first Polish fighter to compete for Glory Kickboxing. His opponent will be Guillermo Blokland of Suriname, a young and hungry and experience fighter who is trained by Marco Pique.
The ladies of MFC will also be featured as Poland’s Emilia Czerwińska takes on Michaela Michl of Germany. Michl made an impact at the last MFC event in December of 2016 when she defeated Joanna Swiatkiewicz by TKO in the third round. Czerwińska said in a recent interview that we “ … can expect a lot of emotions during this fight. It is going to be a hard fight and the strongest in Poland. It will be three rounds of three minutes, full of action”. The full card can be found below.
