FightBox is proud to announce that King of Kings, one of the most recognizable brands of kickboxing, will return to live action from Chisinau, Moldova on Saturday September 30th 2017 starting at 6:30 pm CEST (7:30 pm Moldova).
KOK is back for another huge show for the second straight week in September. Hot off the heels of their event in Kaunas, Lithuania, King of Kings returns to action in their stronghold of the Moldavian capital - Chisinau. The Hero’s World Series portion of the event will be live on FightBox featuring six scheduled fights all under KOK kickboxing rules.
In the main event, England’s Mateusz Duczmal squares off against Alexandru Burduja of Moldova at -95 kg. Duczmal is a Polish kickboxer now residing in England who has fought all over the world including in Europe, China and Thailand. He recently lost a close decision in his native Poland at Fight Exclusive Night 18 and is looking forward to his next big fight. Burduja, who will be fighting in front of his hometown crowd in Chisinau, is also on the rebound after being knocked out by Vasil Ducar the last time KOK was in Moldova, in one of the most incredible King of Kings fights of 2017. Also, in ladies action, Esma Hasshass returns to KOK after winning the first ever King of Kings women’s WGP earlier this year in April. Hasshass, who represents Hemmer’s Gym in Holland, has already defeated all of the top female talent in KOK including wins over Klaudia Pawicka and Nadejda Kantsir. This time she is scheduled to face Liudmila Pilipceak of Ukraine. The full card can be found below.
