FightBox is proud to announce that King of Kings, one of the most recognizable brands of kickboxing, will return to live action from Kaunas, Lithuania on Saturday September 23rd 2017 starting at 6:00 pm CEST (7:00 pm Lithuania).
The summer season is over and that means the King of Kings kickboxing and MMA is in full swing again. Their first big show of the fall season will happen in Kaunas, Lithuania at the Zlagirio Arena and features eight big fights under Bushido MMA rules and KOK kickboxing rules.
In the main event, Rodrigo Ferreira of Brazil will square off against Lithuania’s Mindaugas Narauskas at -71 kilos under kickboxing rules. Narauskas, who is from Kaunas, will definitely have the local crowd behind him. In his last appearance at KOK he defeated Polish fighter Filip Rzadek in March. Mineiro, a Brazilian fighter now living in Holland and training out of Mike’s Gym, has fought in KOK before, losing a close decision to Roman Zobin
Overall there will be eight fights on the card featuring three kickboxing rules matchups and five fights under MMA rules. The main MMA bout is at -80 kg when Holland’s Melvin Suijdam meets Lithuania’s Mantas Stankis. All kickboxing bouts are scheduled for three rounds of three minutes and MMA fights are two rounds of five minutes. The full fight card can be found below.
